Responsibilities/Main Activities:

- Build and maintain release cycle/schedule
- Work with L2 support to understand Functional requirements and prioritize the release items
- Coordinate & manage the release schedule and resources required depending upon the defect backlogs & planned releases
- Early detection and escalation of risks and issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality
- Facilitate and/or conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business Go/No-Go reviews
- Draft, Manage, and represent changes at the change advisory board (CAB) to ensure roadblocks are cleared and adhered to compliance.
- Communicate release plans, timelines, requirements, etc. between different teams, provide weekly updates on the release activities
- Lead and co-ordinate releases including production Go-Live and post-verification testing
- Make improvements in the methodologies used for configuration management and development of software that helps to find ways to use in configuration management.
- Recommend improvements to existing release management processes that result in overall improvements in business practice
- Build stakeholder relationships and facilitate timely communication.
- Draft and manage release documentation wherever required.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of Release management experience or release planning, and change management.
- ITIL Certified (Minimum ITIL 4 Foundation level)
- Experience with source control systems such as git and best practices in branching strategies to support reliable continuous delivery
- Experience in working with Agile methodologies
- Experience in using Azure DevOps or any other equivalent Release Management tools.
- Proficient in using Microsoft tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Project, etc
- Relative Experience in Project management practices
- Good Team management & stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple activities in parallel and able to work under pressure to meet milestones and deadlines
