We are a community-run sessional kindergarten with an amazingly strong and connected community - Our children are given long periods of uninterrupted play time to explore the indoor and outdoor environments - We have under ratio groups and above VECTEA planning time - All meetings, events and any additional hours are paid at appropriate rates - Excellent PD support and paid online Phoenix Cups PD before the role commences - Our Educators collaborate and learn from each other - Our fundraising and social events connect with families and our children - We take a holistic view of learning and development - Our educators are valued and contribute to the positive environment and connected community - We value quality over quantity -no observation checklists, unnecessary record keeping, just quality observations to directly support the individual child's learning.

**Description**

Commencing January 28th 2025 -We are seeking a Diploma qualified educator to work in our 3yo Kindergarten program on Monday & Wednesday and our extended care program on Tuesday & Thursday. Our 3yo Kinder session on Monday & Wednesday runs from 8.30am-1.30pm with 24 children, an ECT and 2 educators. The Tuesday and Thursday role comprises of some time in the 4yo program in the morning and then co-educator in the extended care program from 1.30pm-5.30pm with 2 educators and approximately 11 children. The hours are: Monday 8.00am-3.30pm Tuesday 9.45am-5.45pm Wednesday 8.00am-1.45pm Thursday 9.45pm-5.45pm

- Diploma in Early Childhood
- A Working With Children Check
- A creative and cooperative team player
- Value making fulfilling connections with children
- Have an interest in natural play spaces and nurturing children's care and respect for the outdoors
- Experience in play-based and emergent curriculum
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
