Freelance Social Media Manager

Expression of interest as I'm potentially looking for somebody to outsource social media related tasks to

Hi, my name is Maddie and I run my own marketing agency and I specialise in organic social media management & content creation for brands, optimised for Instagram and TikTok. I recently have had a lot more demand with clients and would love to find somebody to work alongside me managing these tasks. I aim to transition my business model in to more of an agency-like structure but need some assistance first to help me do so

**A bit about you**:

- You LOVE social media Scrolling TikTok/IG is something you find yourself doing all the time (let's be honest, longer than we all should) and you're super up-to-date with trending formats, sounds & hooks
- You may have experience in social media in the past whether that's creating UGC videos, managing a small business' socials, or building up your own socials
- At the end of the day, I'm looking for someone who just _gets it_ when it comes to social media.
- You're flexible Not, in the gymnastics type way - but you have availability for some adhoc hours.
- You DON'T need a degree or crazy years worth of experience to apply If you do have those things, that's amazing but I am not limiting you to require these. If you're passionate, that's what counts the most

**Some of the tasks required**:

- Content ideation - coming up with content ideas that relate to the client's business (includes finding trends and how the client can align)
- Content editing - nothing fancy, but knowledge of CapCut or preferred video editing software would be great.
- Minor graphic design - think IG Reel Covers, Highlights, Story Sets, Carousels
- (NOT ESSENTIAL) Being okay appearing in content This is something I aim for more down the track, so it's 100% okay if it doesn't suit you at this time. But eventually I would love for someone to come along with me for content shoot days

At this moment, I cannot guarantee a certain amount of hours per week/month and this will grow as the business grows. This is why I emphasise that this role is tailored to somebody already freelancing, or perhaps studying at Uni/working part-time elsewhere who wants adhoc hours here and there. Down the track there is the possibility this could move to a more casual/part-time role (only if you want it, of course)

- Must have an ABN

Ideal:

- Be located in Melbourne (so we can go for coffee ☕)
- Have used Notion in the past (this is my preference, but it's not essential)

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
