Position Overview:We are looking for a young, energetic, but mature male support worker who can be a positive role model and mentor for a young male participant. This role involves providing after-school support, focusing on community access, engagement, and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide community access and engagement support after school hours.

Mentor and support the young male participant, promoting independence and personal growth.

Engage in fun and meaningful activities to encourage social interaction and development.Ensure the participant’s safety and well-being at all times.

Adapt and respond to the participant’s complex mental health needs with a compassionate and professional approach.

Build a strong and positive relationship, fostering trust and effective communication.

Qualifications & Experience:Previous experience working with high-complexity mental health needs is essential.Experience in youth mentorship, support work, or related fields.

Ability to connect with and inspire young individuals in a positive and supportive manner.

Understanding of NDIS and person-centered care principles is an advantage.

Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC, and First Aid/CPR certification.

Personal Attributes:
Fun, energetic, and able to engage with young people in a meaningful way.

Mature, responsible, and able to maintain professional boundaries.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly.

Committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Hours:After-school availability (weekdays). Flexibility for occasional weekends is a plus.

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
