**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Allocate work as required to meet payroll processing requirements and timeframes to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery outcomes.
- Positively contribute to business improvement processes in the work unit.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of payroll processes, timeframes and requirements to deliver quality payroll outcomes and to contribute to process and workflow improvement and efficiencies.
- Participate in client engagement meetings and maintain regular communications with line managers to provide advice concerning payroll timeframes, processes and requirements relating to forms and roster submission timelines.
- Manage expectations and deliver services against the defined Payroll Service Catalogue and Support Service Agreements.
- Monitor and manage the performance and processing outputs of client service officers within the team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll to clients.
- Maintain knowledge of industrial instruments related to payroll entitlements.
- Provide leadership and direction in the continuous development of work teams in relation to contemporary human resources practices and policy.
**Key Competencies**:
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following
- Ability to contribute to and lead continuous quality improvement initiatives, strategies and principles in a team environment.
- High level knowledge of Payroll Services with demonstrated ability to provide accurate advice in accordance with relevant industrial legislation.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills and the including the ability to communicate and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels in an environment of organisational change.
