Dental Assistant

Opportunity for Dental Assistant (with some Reception work) for part-time / casual position.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member who enjoys providing an excellent standard of service to the local community at our dental practice.

We will provide you with a great opportunity to develop your dentist assisting skills and gain valuable experience within our dental team.

We are seeking a career-minded Dental Assistant who is reliable, hardworking, honest and eager to work in a broad role which encompasses clinically assisting dentists, Steri-room duties, front Office tasks including answering the phone and liaising with patients.

Skills and Requirements:

- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to pay attention to details
- Have a long term commitment to being a Dental Assistant
- Have great organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- Have experience within the dental industry and sterilisation procedures
- Maintain high infection control standards
- Certificate 3 and 4 in dental Assisting is desirable.
- Carry out reception duties
- General cleaning duties
- Proficient computer literacy
- Easy-going and light-hearted manner - love to laugh.
- References required
