We are a disability service provider specialising in supported independent living accommodation the position advertised is for in the Deception Bay area. We are currently looking at employing a casual Disability Support Workers for our client on a 24/7 rostering system only people who can work any shift in a 7-day period should apply. This is an immediate start.

The applicant should also be able to demonstrate:

- The ability to oversee the general day to day tasks of disability support care, such as cooking/assistance with cooking, supervising and assisting people with medication.
- The ability to comply consistently with policies and procedures, and occupational health and safety obligations and procedures.
- The ability to work positively with others in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including well-developed written and verbal communication skills, conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving.
- An empathic approach to service delivery, with a flexible and adaptable style, a sense of humor, and keen attention to detail.
- Behaviour training is preferred but not essential.

This is a casual position and the shifts currently on offer are a mixture of weekday and weekend shifts and all applicants must be able to work these days and shifts on a regular basis.

- Current National Criminal Records Check
- Blue and Workers Screening
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current First Aid (level 3) Certificate is desired
- Behaviour training

**Salary**: $25.00 - $34.99 per hour
