**About the Role**
Nexus Division is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Technical Writer (ANZSCO: 212415)** to support enterprise-level documentation projects across key technology and infrastructure clients. This role is pivotal in translating complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for diverse stakeholders—including developers, product teams, internal operations, and end-users.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Write and maintain clear, accurate, and user-focused documentation, including process guides, SOPs, product manuals, and API documentation.
- Translate complex systems, procedures, and product features into accessible documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate closely with developers, engineers, and product managers to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
- Develop operational procedures and internal documentation aligned to organizational and client standards.
- Regularly review and revise existing documents to improve clarity, usability, and relevance.
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards, style guides, and governance frameworks.
- Manage documentation repositories and version control via tools like SharePoint and Confluence.
- Participate in project cycles to align technical content with delivery milestones.
**Key Requirements**
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Information Technology, or related field (or international equivalent).
**Experience**:
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on technical writing experience within IT, telecommunications, or enterprise services.
- Experience working within Agile or cross-functional team environments.
**Technical Skills Required**
- **Documentation Tools**: Microsoft Office Suite, Confluence, SharePoint
- **Writing Standards**: Familiarity with structured writing, technical style guides (e.g., Microsoft Manual of Style)
- **Content Management**: Experience with version control systems and structured documentation workflows
- **Communication**: Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholder engagement
- **Research**: Proven ability to extract and validate technical details from SMEs and source materials
**Desirable Skills**
- Experience documenting APIs, SDKs, or software development lifecycle components
- Exposure to DevOps, cloud, or infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., SDL Tridion, Sitecore) considered an advantage
- Experience with compliance documentation in regulated industries (e.g., finance, health, government)
