Role Purpose & Responsibilities
With a head office in Brisbane, where a majority of the accounting function is based, the role of Billing / Accounts Receivable Team Leader will be responsible for managing the function across one entity of the business, as well as people leading one direct report. The role will have a business-as-usual and project lens, assisting with system and process upgrades and standardisations.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, responsibilities will include:
Supervise, coach and mentor one AR / billing team member;
Oversee the complete billing and collections function;
Manage the aged debtor ledger and debtor relationships;
Ensure the timely completion of all tasks and deadlines;
Assist with system upgrades, process projects and business growth changes;
Liaise with internal leaders to identify risk and drive best practice; and
Provide audit support.
Required Experience
End to end management of a high volume accounts receivable function;
Proven leadership or mentorship of staff through change;
Experience assisting with project work - system / process changes;
Stakeholder management and influencing skills;
Demonstrated experience using and learning a variety or systems; and
Ability to develop solutions to problems and work in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
