We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Finance Partner.

This position plays a vital role in supporting our community by delivering sound financial management and partnering with leaders to drive operational efficiency. With a focus on keeping rate increases low and ensuring transparency in financial decision-making, this role helps maintain confidence in our services and financial stewardship.

**Key responsibilities of the position include**:

- Coordinate all financial planning and analysis activities for the Corporate Services Directorate, including budgets, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Prepare detailed budgets, grant acquittals, and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Provide finance partnering and decision support to senior management through insights, dashboards, and service costing.
- Undertake budget assurance and contribute to improving costing and overhead methodologies.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in accounting or commerce, with CA/CPA accreditation.
- Proven experience delivering strategic financial advice to senior and operational leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Effective stakeholder engagement, with a track record of influencing and negotiation.

This is a Level 6 position which has a current salary range of $112,394 - $120,199 per annum (plus Super).
