We are seeking experienced and qualified technicians for the Road Service Division for a national equipment hire company.

Uniforms are fully provided, and parking is on-site. They are offering competitive rates depending on your experience and skill level.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you’ll also appreciate working with a great team of people at the branch who are there to support you.

The Role:
As a Road Service Mechanic, you are expected to deliver consistent and high-quality service solutions to support customers every day. This hands-on role will require regular travel to customer sites to perform all types of service requirements on a variety of forklift and access equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
The key focus of this role involves the mobile servicing of customer forklifts (up to 7 tonne) and other lifting equipment. This includes:

- Planned maintenance (PMP) and inspections
- Repairs
- Overhauls
- New machine builds
- Modifications

Qualifications / Experience:
To be considered for this position, you will ideally have the following:
Essential:

- Automotive mechanic trade background,
- Be a team player,
- Attention to detail,
- Be able to work with mínimal supervision,
- Good customer service relationships,
- Must be reliable and punctual.

Desirable:

- Electrical and hydraulic experience highly regarded.

**Salary**: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Repair, Maintenance & Installation Occupations: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Certificate III in Automotive Diesel Engine Technology (preferred)
