GEA Security is seeking a 2nd or 3rd year Security Technician Apprentice to join our friendly team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience and training from qualified professionals and continue to study to gain a nationally recognised qualification.

What we do:

- Carry out onsite servicing, programming and installation of Security Alarm Systems, Access Control, CCTV, Intercom and other IT based systems.
- Troubleshooting and identifying causes of software and hardware malfunctions.
- Provide clients with phone support and remote programming/fault investigation.
- Build strong relationships with clients to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.

As a trainee you will gain valuable hands on experience in the rough-in and fit-off of alarms, cctv, access control and intercoms plus pre-commissioning of wired and wireless security systems in multiple, residential, commercial and industrial premises. We specialise in the following:

- Bosch, Protoge, Concept, Integriti, Tecom Access Control, ABB, Hikvision, Uniview (and more)

Skills & Qualifications Required:

- Willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
- Well presented
- Current Australian Drivers License and vehicle
- Victorian Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
