**The Opportunity**

An exciting position is available for an enthusiastic dietitian who possesses strong rehabilitation knowledge and experience as well as sound knowledge in the management of a diverse range of conditions. - Your duties will include (but not limited to): _
- Provide dietetic services within all ward areas of the Hospital, including inpatients, day program, outpatients and NDIS patients
- Work in close liaison with the Food Services Department
- Deliver nutritional related patient education in both 1:1 and group settings
- Effectively provide assistance and support to the relevant Manager/s in the effective delivery of dietetic services within the Hospital
- Have demonstrated experience working in a multidisciplinary team

**Skills and Experience**

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following criteria:

- Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligible for full membership of Dietitians Australia
- Demonstrated interpersonal and problem solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently manage a diverse case load
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- High standard of customer service and a team approach
- Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence based practice
- Flexible, positive approach to work
- Membership with the Dietitian’s Association of Australia (Desirable)

**Remuneration**

**On offer is hourly base salary ranging from $38.26 - $55.42**+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Mt Wilga Private Hospital is a 119 bed specialist rehabilitation facility, with a busy day therapy unit and outpatients department situated in Hornsby, a peaceful area of Sydney’s Upper North Shore. **Requirements**:

- **Must** provide a_ _**National Police Check** conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases.
- Completion of the NDIS ‘Quality, Safety & You’ e-learning module
- Must hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (NDISWC)
