**Our client requires a Commercial Officer for 7 months + Contract in Canberra.**

The Commercial Officer will engage with the team to identify, anticipate and respond to needs and expectations to achieve capability development, acquisition and sustainment outcomes. And will be accountable under the direction of the Commercial Manager to support and perform complex to very complex contract management activities and procurements.

**Skills and Experience Required includes**:

- Relevant Acquisition/Procurement and Contract management qualifications and associated knowledge
- Detailed procurement methodology and contracting experience with both Government and private organisations - including direct experience with procurement activities and designing contracts.
- An understanding/experience with ASDEFCON suite of tendering and contracting templates.

**Salary**: $87.50 - $94.00 per hour
