**About the role**

**The ILS Lead **is responsible to support delivery of the ILS Support Systems that includes Maintenance, Technical Data, Supply, Training and other technical aspects of the ILS Program for upcoming LAND projects.

**_Key objectives & responsibilities include:_**

**Key Accountabilities**
- Conduct ILS Support System Capabilities Analysis activities to inform data requirements.
- Develop maintenance and spares requirements and deliverables (such as Maintenance Task Instructions).
- Develop and manage schedule, resources and monitoring/managing team workload to ensure all related ILS products are developed and delivered to satisfy statement of work requirements in line with the master schedule.
- Engage with Project Management, Production, Design, Procurement and any other integrated teams to gather suitable data to support maintenance, technical data, supply and training development.
- Coordinate System Supportability Analysis activities of SMEs and maintain ILS issues and risk register.

**Expected Outcomes**
- All relevant ILS support systems are defined and integrated and outcomes achieved.
- Deliverables are completed and delivered on time and within budget constraints.
- Team members understand their role and are productive and engaged in the project.
- Input to related disciplines is effective and other disciplines understand the ILS outcomes required.

**_Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:_**

**Essential Skills and Experiences**
- Hold a Construction safety induction (white card).
- Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical or equivalent (mandatory)
- 5-8 Years relevant experience in ILS or Sustainment program.
- Strong project management experience
- Solid understanding of Defence logistic support
- Excellent computer skills
- Understanding of the importance and role of data in the logistics program
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team.

- LAND Systems In-Service Support or Acquisition Projects
- Maritime Systems / SEA Acquisition Projects
- Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL)
- Army Electrical Mechanical Engineering Instructions (EMEI)
