Our client, conveniently located in the south east, are seeking an experienced Credit Controller or Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team. A true market leader, this company are providing an extremely busy, hands-on, full-function role where you will have responsibility for your own diverse ledger of customers.
Working within a team across Sydney and New Zealand, you will be self-motivated to achieve individual targets and assist others with a team first attitude. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence our customer's payment patterns through your professional customer engagement skills is pivotal to this role. You will have proven experience working in a dynamic and continually changing environment. Experience using a large ERP is important to be successful in this role, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Full function credit control
- Responsibility for a mixed ledger of clients including business critical and hire customers
- Collections
- Releasing orders
- Daily banking and allocations
- Monthly reconciliations
- Month-end reporting
- Queries
- Ad hoc duties as requested
You will have the ability and passion to build strong internal and external relationships quickly and possess the following attributes:
- Experience in a full function Credit Control role
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and strong problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service focus with a strong understanding of commercial practices
- Ability to push back and question the status quo
- Strong systems experience - SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
