**About the Opportunity**

Uniting MLC School Outside School Hours Care is located within the grounds of MLC Junior Girls School, our programs offer a wide and diverse range of creative and recreational activities that are tailored to your child’s unique interests, personality and abilities.

The service is licensed for 60 children during Before, After School Care and Vacation Care.

**_ This is a permanent part time opportunity working the after school care shift from Monday - Friday and vacation care too_**

**What you’ll be doing in this role**

As an Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework

**Your work may include**:

- Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community.
- Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
- Engage in healthy and positive relationships with school-aged children with a creative mind.

**Who we’re looking for**
- Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
- Experience working with additional needs children will be highly regarded.
- Reliable and consistent in meeting rostering requirements
- Capability to work with mínimal supervision
- Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
- You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
