**About the role**
Exciting opportunity for qualified and experienced Registered Nurse with clinical experience to join our team as a Clinical Care Manager at our Felixstow Residential Aged Care facility for a 12 month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will utilise your leadership skills in overseeing the day-to-day management of the facility to provide direction, supervision and monitoring of all clinical care services to the residents. Key duties and responsibilities will include:

- Ensure clinical care and matter of resident welfare are provided as per the guidelines.
- Assist Senior Manager in ensuring that the operations and performance of the facility are in line with Organisational Vision, Values, Goals and quality standards.
- Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained to reflect resident care, funding, legal requirements and all relevant legislation and standards.
- Ensure best practice clinical care is consistently delivered by clinical care staff.
- Build and maintain relationships with team, residents, family members and external stakeholders.

Aldersgate Residential Aged Care was established in 1944 and is home to 115 people. The historic Forsyth House sits at the centre of the grounds. There are landscaped gardens to enjoy, surrounded by nine houses and cottages. It also has the only Specialist Care Dementia Unit (SCDU) in SA.

**About You**
- AHRRA Registration as Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Graduate Certificate in Aged Care is desirable
- Previous management experience, preferably in an Aged Care environment
- Committed to and able of leading, directing and working as part of team
- Knowledge and understanding of Aged Care Legislation, Accreditation Standards, Aged Care Act and Aged Care Funding Instrument and legislation
- Current flu and COVID-19 vaccinations
