**About the opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to lead our Powdercoating Team and who is looking to join a committed and dynamic team within a growing business.

We are searching for an individual who possesses excellent leadership skills, is highly motivated, trustworthy, reliable, has an eye for detail and extensive experience identifying and implementing positive change within a production / manufacturing environment. You will be a true people leader who is not afraid to roll up his/her sleeves when required.

This role will operate on a full-time basis working five days a week.

Key tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Manage and develop your team in accordance with the production schedules and customer expectations.
- Taking responsibility for the teams deliverables (KPI's)
- Take overall accountability of compliance with company SOP's
- Ensure continuous improvement through regular reviews of processes and addressing identified issues
- Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects
- When the item has been produced, you will be responsible for ensuring the item was produced to the customer’s requirements.
- Actively seek Learning & Development opportunities for your team that leads to staff engagement and ultimately an improved customer experience.
- Ensure that all team members comply with company safety protocols and associated legislative requirements.
- Inspect the work area and equipment that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift
- Attend and actively participate in training classes and safety sessions

**Skills and experience**
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (training on powdercoating requirements will be provided)
- Proven experience with producing quality work within tight timeframes.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach - a “true craftsman” that is passionate about producing quality products.
- Ability to uphold the company values (committed, united, energetic)
