Assistant Director of Nursing

**Your new role**:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (Project Manager, Child Protection Services) to lead service improvement and integrated models of care across Metro South Health. This role provides contemporary operational and professional nursing leadership, shaping governance, education, and clinical service delivery in child protection.
**Key responsibilities include**:
Providing strategic nursing leadership and direction in child protection services.
Leading planning, governance, and policy development to support integrated care.
Driving quality improvement, change management, and workforce development.
Building partnerships with executives, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
**About you**:
You are a transformational nurse leader with expertise in service improvement, governance, and child protection. You bring advanced leadership, clinical knowledge, and stakeholder engagement skills to drive innovation in complex environments.
Proven leadership in nursing governance, service development, and quality improvement.
Advanced project management, research, and policy implementation expertise.
High-level communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills across stakeholders.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
