As a result, we are looking for experienced Machine Operators to join our production team based at our facility in Banyo. The primary responsibility of the role is to efficiently operate equipment in our Sauce Room and Components A Meat department, manage day to day tasks and ensure smooth running of production while adhering to safety and quality standards. **Description**:
**LR Sauce Room Key Responsibilities Include**: 3am to 11.06am (start and finish time)
- Machine Operation - Mixing and cooking
- Operate whip chills
- Pick, load kettles from recipe
- Ensure equipment is ready for start-up then complete and sign off check sheets
- Follow production schedules and instructions
- Conduct regular quality checks as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) throughout the run
- Troubleshoot any issues with machine as necessary
- Remove waste from the line as needed
- Ensure area is regularly cleaned and maintained

**Components A Key Responsibilities Include**: 5am to 1.06Pm (start and finish time)
- Machine Operation - Mixing, marinating, injection of brines and tumbling produce
- Cutting of products
- Operating ovens and vacuum packing of raw products

Skills/Competencies Required
- Machine operator experience in the FMCG industry with prior experience in food manufacturing highly regarded
- You have the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Excellent communication, literacy and numerical skills
- Background in hospitality kitchens
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to accurately complete documents for compliance
- Ability to troubleshoot minor issues
- You can work in a cold environment - our factory is maximum 8 degrees Celsius
- Ability to work as part of the team
