Eldercare has an exciting opportunity for experienced Personal Care Assistants to join the team at Eldercare Sash Ferguson located in Mount Barker.

We have permanent a opportunity available with night duty shifts 23:00 - 07:00 (up to 10 shifts per fortnight).

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be providing direct care in a dignified and respectful manner that delivers excellence in customer service to our residents. Following care plans you will assist with personal care, daily living tasks and general mobility. With a person-centered mindset you will create a warm and welcoming care environment that aims to maximise quality of life.

**About the role**
- Located at our Mount Barker site
- Permanent part time opportunity
- Opportunity to pick up additional shifts on a casual basis

**To be successful in this role, you will**:

- Possess a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Aged Care - or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months experience
- A genuine passion to provide care that is person-centered
- The ability to work individually and in a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Enjoy building positive relationships with residents their families and staff

- To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people) and the clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue._

- _Be vaccinated against COVID-19 as per current ATAGI guidelines_
