**Description**:
About the Role

The Warehouse Manager plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of Calendar Cheese QLD, ensuring a smooth flow of goods from receiving to storage and shipping. The manager is also responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring efficiency in warehouse layout and processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company standards.
Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
Develop and implement efficient processes for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods to meet customer demands.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are optimally managed to support production schedules.
Coordinate with other departments to fulfil orders accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with WHS procedures to create a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
Identify areas for improvement in warehouse operations and implement effective solutions.

**Skills and Experience**:
Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role
FMCG experience (preferred)

Excellent understanding of warehouse key performance indicators (KPIs)
Certification to operate forklifts.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Effective communication and influencing skills. In particular, the ability to advocate change and influence internal opinion.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.
