**The Role**

The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is to support a team of underwriters to service our broker partners. This includes assistance with processing and administrative duties, issuing policy documents, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, working with accounts departments, as well as finalising renewals and new business placements. The role also has the potential for future career development and underwriting involvement, including determining the acceptability, conditions, and pricing of construction and fleet risks, including placement and risk assessment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Liaise with the team in support of underwriting, processing, maintenance and completion of new business, endorsement and renewal transactions.
- Data processing in a timely manner while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Build and develop relationships with customers/intermediaries by handling a range of queries and provision of advice.
- Liaise with underwriters and brokers in issuing policy documents.
- Support underwriters to determine acceptability, conditions, and pricing of moderate and complex insurance risks.
- Following internal underwriting guidelines, processes and standards.

**Skills & Experience**
- Strong administrative background, with demonstrated organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Experience in Insurance Industry (highly desirable but not essential)
- Construction, trade or building experience (desirable but not essential)
