**Automation Tester**

**Location**:ACT

**Contract**:12 months

**Clearance**:Hold or Ability to obtain Baseline

**Duties**:

- Deploy automation frameworks that fulfill criteria for usability, effectiveness, efficiency, and maintainability, with a focus on supporting both backend and UI components, especially Accessibility.
- Establish guidelines for writing test code and automation coding principles to be adhered to by the team.
- Facilitate the timely delivery of automated tests within sprints, aligning with acceptance criteria and enabling the Definition of Done.
- Develop tests and corresponding automation code while also crafting manual scenarios.
- Play a role in advancing automation testing practices through ongoing improvement efforts.
- Assist the Test Manager in expanding the automation testing team and broadening test coverage.

**Required Skills**:

- Skilled in developing and implementing automated testing procedures within a DevOps framework, employing CI/CD practices.
- Hands-on technical work, particularly in UI functional automation utilising tools like Playwright and Selenium WebDriver, and experienced in employing BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Capable in testing REST APIs with Postman and proficient in crafting automation scripts for REST API tests.
