The Navy’s Anchorage is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Food Truck Operator to join our dynamic team. As a Food Truck Operator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and coffee with exceptional customer service from our mobile food unit. This role requires a blend of coffee skills, customer interaction, and operational experience to ensure a successful and efficient food service experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Provide friendly and professional service to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, and process transactions using the POS system.
- **Truck Operations**:

- Operate and maintain the food truck, ensuring it is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food products.
- Be able to make coffee and trouble shoot most problems.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders with the kitchen as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and manage waste to minimize loss and ensure freshness.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the food truck.
- Assist in training new staff and promoting a positive work environment.
- **Compliance & Reporting**:

- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to food safety and sanitation.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.

**Qualification**:

- Proven experience in Coffee, food prep, and customer service, preferably in a food truck or similar mobile food environment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a mobile food environment.
- Capability to lift and carry items up to 20KG.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $22.45 - $31.06 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
