We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader - Maintenance and Works Program to join Windana on an ongoing full-time basis working on site at both of our Therapeutic Community's located in both Corio and Ballarat. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader seeking a challenge and looking to make a meaningful contribution at a purposeful organisation.

The role will be based out at our two sites, Barwon Therapeutic Community Monday, Tuesday, and Friday and at our Grampians Therapeutic Community Wednesday and Thursday.

**The Role**

Directly accountable to the Managers, the Operations Team Leader is responsible for the oversight of the Barwon and Grampians property, implementation of the Residents Work Program (comprising of Garden, Kitchen and Animals), WHS and special projects. A key focus of the role is to provide motivation and be a change agent throughout the implementation of initiatives at Windana. Relationship development, both internally and externally is essential to the sustainability of this role at the Therapeutic Community. The role is also responsible for leading and managing the Works Program team across both Barwon and Grampians, comprising of chefs and gardeners.

**Who we're looking for**

**The person we're looking for will have**:

- Strong knowledge and understanding of site specific OHS requirements and legislations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Experience working within site operations or management. Experience working in AOD is desirable
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to adapt and reprioritize as required based on the needs of the program and residents.
- Demonstrated capacity and experience successfully supervising other staff and/or students to coach, mentor and develop their skills.
- Qualifications in Project Management, Property/Facilities Management, OHS
- Hold a driver's licence that is applicable in Victoria and evidence of a safe driving record and have the capacity to frequently work across multiple sites in a single week.

**Therapeutic Community (BTC and GTC)**

The Therapeutic Community (TC) is an AOD residential rehabilitation program that provides a safe space for residents to recover and heal by exploring their own life experiences and learning from the experience and insights of others. In education, therapy, and work groups which form the basis of the daily routine, everyone has an opportunity to explore new ways of experiencing life. The BTC is all about change and growth in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. We are located at: Corio, Barwon region, in a purpose-built 30-bed facility, and Ballarat, Grampians region, in a 20-bed facility.
