**QA/QC Inspector - Perth Based - Long Term**

Our client has a long history of manufacturing for local and international resource markets. They are recognised as the industry standard and have designed and built equipment found in most mines, ports and other large bulk material handling plants.

Due to their continued success and increasing client expansion, they are looking for QA/QC Inspectors for an immediate start. This will be an ongoing role with long term opportunities. You will be provided with industry leading training and have support throughout your time with the company.

The right QA/QC Inspectors will be someone that will contribute the harmonious environment and will be a good ambassador for the company when external facing.

**Focus of the role**

This position is responsible for controlling quality by checking and testing product. You will be reporting directly to the Quality Manager. In your role you will spend most of your time in the workshop. With the manufacturing team. Responsibilities will also include administrative and clerical support to the Quality department.

**Ideally, we are looking for**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
- High quality control skills including experience measuring and testing product.
- Experience working in welding, machining, and fitting environments.
- Understanding of traceability in Material cert, heat number, NDT reports, Welding records, heat treatment, surface preparation report
- Experience with bulk handling equipment would be beneficial
- Experience with CMM (Faro arm) is preferable but not essential
- Experience in software such as MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point, Excel, Word and Team Binder.
- Someone who is target orientated and self-motivated
- The ability to manage multiple assignments with a focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining the quality objectives.
- Experience working in welding, machining, and fitting environments.
- Certs in auditing or inspecting will be looked upon favourably
- Detail-oriented and able to work with a high volume of documents in a fast-paced environment.
