About the Role
An opportunity exists for a motivated individual to join our Vegetation Works Team. This position provides quality service to the Hill’s Shire community. Works as part of a team to complete a variety of tasks associated with the planned maintenance and presentation of council's parks, gardens, reserves and sports grounds. In particular, this role operates and transports tractor mowers and associated implements used in the maintenance of parks and reserves.

What you will be doing:

- Conduct a daily maintenance check of plant and equipment and report issues.
- Deliver and collect materials/clients or employees.
- Drive a truck and tow plant trailer
- Operate plant and equipment
- Assist in the delivery of programs and activities.
- Assist with maintenance of standard operating procedures and processes.
- Follow up on maintenance issues.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests.
- Undertake maintenance works.
- Upkeep council infrastructure.

About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
1. White Card - General Construction Induction - Essential
2. NSW Drivers Licence (Class MR) - Willing to obtain
3. First Aid & CPR - Desirable
4. Chemical Safety Accreditation AQF3 - Desirable
5. Front end Loader (LL) - Desirable
6. Traffic Controller - Desirable
7. Trim & Cut Felled Trees - Desirable

Position details:
Permanent full-time role on a nine-day fortnight, W0252 Salary: Up to $68K + Superannuation
