**Permanent Part-time Child Protection Trainer and Assessor - Hybrid WFH**
- $37p/h + super
- Permanent part-time, 21 hours p/week

Due to constant and sustained growth, we are looking to hire an additional, experienced and energetic, permanent part-time **Child Protection Trainer and Assessor**.

You will deliver and assess **CHCPRT025 Identify and report children and young people at risk**.

Working in a hybrid role, both remotely and from our Campbelltown office, you’ll be guiding students by delivering class zoom workshops, supporting self-paced training, marking assessments and providing overall support to our Child Protection students.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Delivering zoom workshops, for public classes or private employer groups
- Assessing coursework using an online learner management system
- Providing a positive learning environment for students to undertake training and assessment
- Assisting and guiding distance students with their learning and assessment materials

To be considered for this role, you must:

- Have an understanding of current legislation with regard to care and protection of children and young people
- Hold a **Diploma or higher level Education and Care qualification**, or other relevant **Child Protection industry qualification**:

- Be passionate about student focused education
- Be well-presented and self-motivated
- Have the ability to work independently while part of a remote team environment
- Have excellent communication and time management skills, especially with people from diverse backgrounds
- Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Demonstrate an ability to engage with students from diverse backgrounds
- Have a proven ability to support students
- Have a Current Working with Children Check
- Be proficient in MS Office Suite
- Have a passion for Early Childhood Education, with experience in an approved centre, or
- Have previously have been employed in a Child Protection capacity, such as a Case Worker, Support Worker or a role with other relevant industry experience

Pay: $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
