Penrith Panthers Rugby League Club are seeking an energetic, passionate and professional individual to join their team

Penrith Panthers Rugby League have an amazing opportunity for an experience Game Day & Community Officer to join our highly dedicated team. This role is pivotal within the broader organisation and is involved in many facets of Panthers throughout the Rugby League Department. Working with the Operations Manager you will be responsible for event and community program facilitation and liaise with external suppliers to ensure the full execution of event & community programs.

**Your main duties and responsibilities include, however are not limited to**:

- Coordination of game day operations including ensuring compliance with the NRL and being initial point of contact for venue contractors i.e. cleaning, security and food vendors;
- Supervision and management of all players appearances, in line with NRL guidelines;
- Organise and support club activities that are integrated into local community activities and programs;
- Facilitate Community programs;
- Facilitation & management of major events including organising run sheets and coordinating entertainment, food & beverage and security;
- Assisting with meetings with internal and external stakeholders;
- Facilitate stand-alone matches for the venue and attendance to all events;
- Debriefing on pre and post major events including game days, promotions and;
- Participation at industry networking events building relationships with industry contacts.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess the following**:

- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role;
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to manage multiple projects;
- A proven track record for providing exceptional customer service;
- A history of accurate cash handling is essential;
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and work ethic at all times;
- High standard of personal grooming;
- Possess strong attention to detail and;
- Ability and initiative to work efficiently and pro-actively, either autonomously or in a team.

You will have a positive, outgoing and energetic approach to work and be exceptionally well groomed at all times. You will need to be available to work as required to work events, game days and any other nights or weekends as and when required of the role.
