One of our large Federal Department is looking to engage a qualified and experienced Performance Test Analyst to join the Testing and Quality Assurance (TQA) team in the Digital Services Division.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Utilising expert level knowledge of performance best practices to uplift capability maturity.
- Engaging with an experienced team to develop scalable and reusable performance test suites.
- Training and mentoring junior testers through regular quality reviews and constructive feedback on industry best practices.
- Developing performance templates and artefacts for use in project documentation and reporting.
- Scheduling the execution of performance suites when required.
- Ensuring adequate test coverage including performance and manual exploratory testing.
- Conducting defect management, including defect tracking, issue resolution, and signoffs.
- Creating and presenting performance test reports to stakeholders
- Be responsive, flexible, and work collaboratively as part of an agile team.
- Executing and reporting on performance tests using the OpenTextLoadRunnertoolset
- Create and maintain performance test frameworks and strategies
- Deploying, configuring and maintaining the OpenText LoadRunner Professional on physical and virtual infrastructure
- Sharing outcomes, knowledge and experience with other analysts in the section
- Manage the deployed performance testing tool
- Act as technical escalation point
- Provide technical support in the development of performance test deliverables
- Strong relationship building, communication and negotiation skills

Skills and experience:

- Performance Test Analyst with minimum 5+ years' experience in OpenText LoadRunner, or equivalent
- Uplifting the capability of performance testing practices in large Department's or organisations.
- Creating performance test scripts using the OpenText LoadRunner toolset across Web and Web Services protocols
- Executing and reporting on performance tests using the OpenTextLoadRunnertoolset
- Strong written and oral communication skills.

Desirable:

- Undergraduate Degree / Professional Certificate in Information Technology, Electronics or Networking fields
- ISTQB qualification
