**About You**

You are an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with excellent clinical reasoning, assessment, and exercise prescription skills.

Experience in clinical Pilates is desirable, but training can be provided.

You have good biopsychosocial assessment skills, with a focus on evidence-based practice, good motivational interviewing skills, and a genuine desire to help your clients, no matter where they are in their journey.

You’ll be passionate, professional, kind, and caring with a genuine desire to improve people‘s lives.

You will be responsible for:

- Treating patients in your treatment room and in our fully-equipped rehabilitation gym/Pilates studio.
- Independently managing patients, both individually and in group settings (assessment, planning, and treatment).
- Managing mainly private patients, as well as Medicare TCA plans, DVA referrals, and Workers’ Comp patients. We are NDIS Registered Providers. You will have time to write reports/liaise with relevant parties (GPs, specialists, insurance companies, etc.).

**About Us**

You will enjoy working with an experienced, motivated team of Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists.

We are a well-established and progressive Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology practice in Canberra City, treating mainly musculoskeletal and sports injury patients as well as chronic illness patients.

We have long initial appointments (60 min) and subsequent appointments (30, 45, or 60 min) to allow time to assess, treat, set up self-management strategies, and supervise exercise programmes. We only treat one patient at a time so full attention is given.

We run clinical exercise classes informed by Pilates and gym equipment sessions. We are known for delivering excellent patient outcomes in a fun, caring, and friendly environment.

We support professional career development and have weekly inservices, mentoring, and training to expand your clinical knowledge.

Therapists have their own room with computer.

We are a highly experienced team of physios and EPs. We are continuing to expand due to our great reputation and steadily growing following amongst patients, medical referrers, and strong community networks.

We have efficient, professional, and friendly administration support.

We work flexible hours that will suit us and you.

High remuneration, well above the award wage.

**Job Requirements**
- A degree qualification in Exercise Physiology
- Full ESSA registration
- ESSA membership
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Permanent residency or citizenship
- Full COVID-19 Vaccination status
- 1-year post-grad experience preferred (not essential)
- Experience in Matwork and Equipment Pilates preferred (not essential)
- Availability to work at least 3 days per week
- Availability to work occasional Saturday mornings teaching clinical exercise classes 8:30 am - 12:30 pm ( paid at 1.5 base hourly rate)
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Excellent clinical reasoning skills, chronic illness and disease management, and exercise prescription skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Health-conscious mindset and lifestyle
- Eagerness and willingness to learn and seek advice
