**Your new team**
The Membership & Brand Group plays a key role in the growth of the Fund. The Governance and Accountability team provides the Group with first line risk support and is led by managers who:

- Advocate for their people,
- Are open and approachable

**Your new role**
In this role, you will support the Risk Manager to ensure that risks are managed in accordance with the Funds frameworks, policies and standards. The purpose of the Governance and Accountability team is to partner with colleagues to help the Fund achieve its goals.
Some of the key areas that you will be involved with include:

- **Risk, obligation and control ecosystem management**:This is an exciting area that involves engaging with business colleagues to ensure adherence with the Funds Enterprise Risk Management Framework, prudential standards and leading industry practice. To be successful you will need to have strong attention to detail and the ability to think strategically.
- **Incident and breach reporting management**: This is a dynamic area and work ranges from monitoring incidents raised, proactively facilitating their resolution and strategically analysing the root causes to identify the required remediation initiatives.
- **Control testing**:A fantastic way to deeply understand the business, here you will be delivering design and operational effectiveness testing under the guidance of more senior colleagues and identifying uplift initiatives.

As an accomplished Risk Analyst, you will need to have the ability to engage with a range of colleagues to effectively collaborate and achieve common goals. You will be a key contact for business colleagues and will be committed to promoting a strong risk culture focused on continuous improvement.
You will also assist in maintaining the data integrity of the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool and with period reporting to senior leaders and executives.

**What you will need**
- 5+ years’ experience in risk management, ideally in Financial Services (Superannuation, Financial Advice, Banking or Insurance) or Consulting.
- Strong knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks
- Strong knowledge of incident management frameworks
- Strong knowledge of control testing frameworks and ability to deliver testing
- An ability to analyse trends, diagnose problems and issues and then recommend actions dealing with underlying root causes
- Experience in developing relationships with key colleagues from a variety of levels
- Strong attention to detail and a clear thinker who drives to deliver outcomes
