Seeking an experienced building inspector to support a short-term project for a Government department

**Your new company**

With the main office based in Fremantle, you will be required to conduct building site inspections for a specific site location, with travel covered by the department. You will be required to work 07:30am - 4:30pm, and will be working on a short-term project from Tuesday 26 March until Wednesday 10 April.

**Your new role**

As the Building Inspector, you will be responsible for:

- Assessing building interior and exterior structural elements, identifying any maintenance issues and repairs needed
- Updating findings on a touch-screen table and taking images / videos as needed

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered, you will demonstrate:

- Previous experience in dealing with building construction and repairs
- The ability to work autonomously
- Previous experience in engineering or construction work is preferable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong data entry accuracy

**What you'll get in return**

This department is offering 2-hours of training on the first day of the job, and will then require you to work from Tuesday 26 March until Wednesday 10 April, minus the public holidays. Your on-site travel visits will be covered by the department, and you will be paid a competitive hourly rate.
