
Bridge Inspector

Our WA Bridges Business Group has a unique opportunity for Bridge Inspectors to join their Perth based team in support of our diverse client base. Multiple positions are on offer and you will have the support and guidance of the existing team, comprising leaders in the field, to learn about Asset Inspection techniques and bolster any existing experience with the ongoing development of inspection processes.

**Focus areas will include**:
- Assisting in bridge inspections, including visual, non-destructive and intrusive inspection methods, measurements and reporting
- Identifying defects and assembling inventory and condition information in accordance with the bridge inspection requirements
- Maintain daily records for activities associated with the bridge inspection activities
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of appropriate safety management systems
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of traffic management on site
- Maintaining the bridge inspection equipment in good working order
**We are looking for**:
- The willingness to learn Asset Inspection Techniques and reporting requirements
- A suitable understanding of Occupational Safety and Health requirements
- High levels of self-discipline, self-motivation, energy and initiative
- A demonstrated ability to work in a small team environment, with good interpersonal skills
- An excellent level of written, verbal and numeracy skills
- Sound computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Certification of the Level 2 Bridge Inspector training (not essential if not already acquired, training can be sought depending on experience attained)
**Must have Possession of**:
- Western Australian C Class Driver’s License
- Construction white card
