Human Resources Advisor

We’re hiring a great new role here at Mingara to support the growth of our organisation. With a brand new hotel in construction, there are lots of exciting times ahead for our team. We’re looking for someone to join our team who is great at building relationships and can support our Destination Leadership Team with best practice Human Resources advice.

**Your Leadership is Valued**

When it comes to HR, this role will give you a taste of everything, including:

- Supporting the growth of our orgnaisation by attracting top talent that align with our vision, mission and values
- Providing advice to our operational leaders to build capability and identify opportunity for innovation to support Human Resources including onboarding, training, benefits, engagement and retention, performance management
- Contributing towards our collaborative organisational culture by developing and implementing engagement programs and initiatives, developing leadership capability and actively role modelling our values. To do this, it’s not just about sitting behind a desk, it’s about proactively engaging with our team in their work environment
- Participate in the many exciting projects ahead for our HR team across our group of 5 clubs
- Managing workers compensation claims and return to work.
- Coordinating employment contracts
- Coordination of the Team Recognition Program
- Maintaining our HRIS

**What Success Looks Like**
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
- Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources Generalist position. You will have spent a couple of years working in HR and have a passion for growing your HR career with Mingara
- The ability to take off the ‘corporate hat’ and be agile in an industry that is continually evolving.
- Values trust and establishes credibility and confidence in stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Expertise in providing solutions-based Human Resources advice and strategies to managers and the wider team.
- Experience in interpreting industrial instruments.
- Excellent organisational and administration skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
