**Your new role**:
Vinnies are seeking a** **values-driven and proactive manager** **who will drive excellence in service provision at the Matthew Talbot - Homeless Service. The leadership you provide will be essential in promoting person-centered service delivery and improving the quality and consistency of the services provided.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Supervise, mentor and support direct reports and support staff to ensure best practice service delivery with an emphasis on professional development to allow quality outcomes for the people we assist.
- Work within, and provide regular reports on, the service package/s budget while providing effective service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders in a professional manner and ensure ongoing positive relationships are formed with funders, homelessness services, peak bodies and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure decisions regarding client support, including behaviour management, are evidence-based, documented, align with organisational policy and procedure and demonstrate respect for clients.
- Contribute to the implementation of effective risk management procedures to ensure compliance with legal, employment and governance requirements.

**You will need**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification/s in service delivery area, including social work, psychology or related community sector areas
- Demonstrated experience in leadership positions in a human services environment
- Experience in contract and risk management
- Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of outcome focussed service provision
- Sound knowledge of the homelessness and housing sector including funding and policy environment
- Excellent communication, collaborative and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience in financial and administrative management (including budget preparation & reconciliation).
- NSW driver licence and ability to travel.
