**LS Disability Support Worker - Individual Supports**:

- Gosford & Central Coast, NSW, Australia, 2250- Casual- Disability Support Worker | Individual Supports
- Coffs Harbour NSW
- Mainly shorter shifts, must be able to do personal care female participants.
- Casual Position available across two sites in Bathurst
- $41.76 - $43.08p/h
- Must be happy to do personal care and have Drivers Licence with Full Comprehensive Insurance.

Lifestyle Solutions provide innovative and flexible person-centered support for people living with a disability. Support Worker to assist a customer to become more independent, in their own home and in the community.

As a Support Worker your responsibilities will include:

- Mentoring and skill development - guiding customers to explore and develop their personal interests/hobbies
- Coaching independent living skills such as cooking, domestic and social skills
- Administering medication and adherence to individual support plans
- Completing clear, concise and factual handover notes and incident reports
- Providing personal care such as toileting, showering, feeding and dressing when required
- Helping customers engage with their local communities and culture through access to Community Participation Programs and recreational activities
- Personal care is a must, and must be comfortable and knowledgeable in doing so.
- Diabetes knowledge or training is ideal
- Peg feeding knowledge is ideal
- Community Access will also be a requirement at certain times.

Make It Matter - _What you will bring to make a difference in other’s lives_
- Be willing to be work a variety of shifts which includes mornings, afternoons, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers and weekends
- Versatile communication skills including the ability to interact with both verbal and non-verbal customers
- Current driver’s license (mandatory requirement)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or be willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate, HLTAID003
- Up to date Covid Vaccinations
- Formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar, would be advantageous
