The **Workers Compensation Case Manager** is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of workers' compensation claims for injured workers. This role involves coordinating medical care, facilitating return-to-work programs, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Case Manager will collaborate with medical providers, employees, and management to promote a safe and efficient work environment.

As part of a major reset to improve recovery and return to work outcomes for injured workers, DXC has commenced managing workers' compensation claims in New South Wales. Join the growing DXC team now

**Responsibilities and duties**
- Strategically manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims across NSW
- Oversee the lifecycle of workers' compensation claims - front end or long term
- Develop and implement return-to-work plans in collaboration with the injured worker, medical providers and other stakeholders
- Guide, educate and support injured workers on their rights, benefits, and responsibilities under workers' compensation laws
- Collaborate with customer management and injured workers to facilitate a smooth transition back to work
- Analyse claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Prepare reports for management on claims status, outcomes, and recommendations for enhancements
- Ensure compliance with state and federal workers' compensation regulations

This position may require occasional travel to various company locations or medical facilities.

**Required skills, experience and qualifications**
- 3+ years in a similar case management role, preferably in the workers compensation or insurance industry
- Strong understanding of workers compensation legislation and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and prioritise effectively
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in using case management systems and MS Office suite
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (i.e. nursing, allied health, social work) is highly regarded
