**The Opportunity**:
This is a hybrid role, where you will be on the road in clubs supporting 2-3 days a week and in the office for the remainder of the week. You will develop, implement, and maintain effective practices and systems to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all employees, contractors, and club members. Reporting to the Head of Safety, you will be responsible for the undertaking of audits and WHS reporting and compliance, in accordance with company procedures and the relevant Work Health & Safety legislation and standards.
This would suit someone who has worked in a role with exposure to managing safety in environments where members of the general public and their safety are the main consideration.

**Key duties and responsibilities include**:

- Assist with Safety Projects in line with the objective of continuous improvement
- Maintain incident and hazard reporting systems and ensure all incidents and hazards logged are investigated, assessed, controlled and reviewed within the delegated timeframes
- Conduct investigations of workplace incidents, injuries and club safety and assist with recommendations and implementing actions to correct any issues
- Assist in the review of policies and procedures to ensure they reflect current business practices and align with relevant legislation
- Provide training and development to team members at all levels to ensure compliance, engagement and to create a positive and proactive safety culture across the business
- Conduct reviews of emergency and fire safety plans, ensuring all are in place and current within clubs and studios
- Assist the Head of Safety (ANZ) with the implementation, maintenance and effectiveness of the FLG's WHS Management System
- Manage the “Return To Work Process” for injured workers in line with the relevant legislation;
- Complete audits and inspections in compliance with the agreed auditing program.

**To be successful in this role you will ideally present with**:

- A current First Aid and CPR certificate
- A current full Australian driver's license (and access to a car)
- Strong organisational skills
- Competent and confident to have open communication with all stakeholders with a clear and professional tone
- Multi-site experience, including implementation of WHS policies across a dispersed organisation;
- Knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment and control;
- Knowledge of current WHS legislation, as it applies to the Fitness industry;
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant area such as WHS or working towards obtain relevant qualifications is highly desirable
- 3+ years' experience in a WHS role is highly desirable,
- Return to Work certification (relevant to the region) - highly regarded.
