**Why you'll love the role**:
As our Community Support Services Team Leader, you will provide support and leadership to our team of Community Support Workers and the centralised Administration Officers who are responsible for the onboarding and ongoing administrative tasks to meet consumer needs. This position also provides support to the consumers who are in receipt of Council’s Aged and Home and Community Care Younger Persons Program (HACCPYP) services. The position also assists in undertaking service or support plan reviews as required.

You'll be part of the Aged and Disability Services team that undertakes planning, policy, advocacy, partnership and service delivery roles in providing quality home and community support services for older people, and people with a disability and their support and in the development of strategic plans for our older community.

**What you'll do**:

- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and business plans to achieve financial, quality management, consumer service and best practice objectives in Aged and HACCPYP programs
- Supervise and support a team of Community Support Workers and Community support Administration Officer
- Develop and maintain effective liaison and networks with community groups, government agencies and other relevant stakeholders in the context of identified needs, capacity building and community strengthening
- Recommend changes and participate in service reviews to continuously improve service delivery.
- Provide a high-quality customer focused service

**What we are looking for (skills, experience and certificates)**
- Diploma of Community Services and/or relevant experience in community aged services
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working within the area of community aged care.
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team of community support workers or administrative teams.
- An excellent knowledge and understanding of Aged Care Reforms
- Demonstrated understanding of Wellness and Reablement Principles
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives

**Mandatory Pre-employment requirements**:

- Driver's Licence
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) (Previously known as a police check)
- Working with Children's Check
- CPR / First Aid Certificate

- Salary range $75,580.79 to $82,169.90 per annum plus super (for comparison at full time this would be $ 94,475.99 to $102,712.38 per annum plus super)
