Government agency looking for a Supervisor to assist with capital works projects.

**Your new company**

Our client is a business unit within the Queensland Government who work across a range of new build, maintenance, and capital works projects. Due to a peak in workload and a healthy project pipeline, they are looking to add a Supervisor to their Department to assist with their various building projects.

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for supervising the delivery of construction, maintenance, and upgrade working. This will include the planning and delivery of projects through producing tender and quotation documentation and overseeing the delivery of the work. You will also be reviewing contractor quotations regarding maintenance responses and service maintenance.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in the role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of the of delivery of construction, maintenance, and upgrade work. You will therefore ideally come from a Trade background where you will have delivered such work. As part of your role will include tender and documentation, you will need a good understanding of Microsoft products in order to prepare documents and reports. A solid understanding of Safety Management, as well as an air conditioning and or electrical trade qualification is required for this role.

**What you'll get in return**

You will be offered an immediate start with an initial 3-month contracted casual role with the potential for extension. You will be offered a full-time temporary position paying $56.62 per hour + super.
