Job Description

Based at Inghams' primary processing facility in Somerville, we are a dedicated team of hard-working individuals and problem-solvers, passionate about improving efficiencies and delivering the highest quality products to our customers.

We offer casual shifts across Monday-Friday with full-time hours and the potential to transition to a permanent role.

**Daily Tasks**
- Process and inspect raw materials safely and according to quality specification
- Perform processing tasks efficiently and work to meet individual and group targets
- Complete manual handling duties - lift, pull, push, bend and reach
- Follow the safety rules, speak up and be mindful of risks
- Clean and maintain a clean work space
- Work with raw meat products in a cold environment
- Store and maintain materials, equipment and tools

**You will bring to this role**
- Capability to perform repetitious tasks efficiently, correctly and systematically in accordance with policies and standards
- To be able to successfully communicate both written and verbally
- Ability to respond calmly and methodically when faced with obstacles
- Good level of fitness are required as you will manually handle up to 15kg
