This is an exciting opportunity for process workers to be part of an iconic Australian/New Zealand company at their Processing site in Somerville.

**Opportunity**
- Monday to Friday Roster
- Weekly Roster Schedule
- $27 - $32 per hour
- Full Training Provided
- All PPE Provided
- Opportunity to convert from casual to permanent / career opportunities

**Duties include not limited to**:

- Loading and unloading the crate washer for finished product.
- Locating and removing any residual feathers from carcasses on the line.
- Rehanging poultry post primary grading and/or including wet re-hanging or hanging on to automatic cut up, or operator scales, carton strapping, including minor adjustment and tape installation.
- Maintaining plant hygiene.
- Placing a pad on a tray, a plastic liner in a crate, or forming cartons manually or semi automatically.
- Moving product between work areas as directed/and or distributing ice throughout the plant where required.
- operating material handling equipment which may require a licence, conveyer or shrink wrap machine.

**Skills/Experience**
- Physically fit to repetitively handling 5kg to 20kgs
- Cold storage experience (desirable) but not necessary
- OH&S awareness and emphasis on safety in the workplace.
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable, committed and motivated with a willingness to learn
- Team player and enjoying meeting targets
- Able to work long periods on your feet
- Able to understand and follow instructions and procedures

**In addition, you must have**:

- The ability to start immediately if successful
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends when required
- Own car and Drivers Licence
- Be a permanent Australian resident or citizen
- Supply two recent employer referees (relevant to the role)
