Due to our continuing growth in learning and development, we have a** **fulltime opportunity for a **Learning and Development Officer** to join the L&D team on a 1-year contract. Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, this role will provide day to day administration and coordination support in the management and delivery of Eldercares Learning and Development Programs.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Assist in the administration and coordination of Eldercares’ Mandatory Induction and Annual Training programs. This includes the preparation of detailed and timely L&D site compliance training reports on staff training records.
- Administer and maintain Eldercare’s L&D annual calendar and schedule.
- Collect and consolidate data for reporting and program evaluation.
- Prepare new employee induction packs, and other L&D documents and correspondence.
- Support the administration of Eldercare’s learning management system (LMS) including User management.
- Manage venue bookings, attendee management, catering and the provision of training materials and equipment.
- Support in the administration of the clinical/care student placement and traineeship program.

- Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate with a diverse range of people and maintain a high level of customer service.
- Demonstrated experience in administration/coordination - highly proficient in the use of the Microsoft Suite.
- Well-developed problem-solving, attention to detail and time management skills.
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Approachable, positive, motivated, and a go-getter attitude
- Experience within the Aged Care sector (desirable).

- To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (vulnerable) and clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue._
