- The Interpreter Service sits within the Social Work and Diversity Department and is committed to providing responsive language services that include interpreter and translation services. We have an in-house team of 16 including the coordinator of the service and booking clerk. The team provides appropriately credentialed interpreter services for patients, families, and staff to facilitate safe communication throughout our patients journey at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. We are seeking experienced health care interpreters to join our growing in-house interpreting team.

**Your new role**:

- Provide quality patient centred care through competent medical interpreting / translating and cultural knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with a wide range of professionals and teams across the organisation.

**About you**:

- You are a NAATI Certified Arabic Interpreter and Translator with experience in a health setting and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across an organisation.
- You demonstrate excellent communication skills and a passion for continued professional development.
- You have a high level of administrative skills
- You are solutions focused with an ability to meet deadlines, work independently and within a team.
