**The Role**
This is an excellent opportunity to influence industry and business development as a Project Cost Estimation Analyst. In this exciting role you will contribute to the expansion of a domestic industrial base whilst contributing to the development of the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Enterprise Division.

You will have in-depth knowledge of whole of life cycle cost estimation of capabilities, materiel systems and assets and programmatic cost engineering. You will participate in the development of cost models and analysis of parametric and cost relationship for new projects and proposals to support GWEO Enterprise capability program planning activities.

You will develop risk analysis and assessments and independent cost evaluation. You will contribute to complex problem solving and issues management and may coordinate and perform detailed or sensitive projects that impact on strategic, political or operational outcomes for Defence.

**About our Team**
The Project Cost Estimation Analyst Position is located within the Program Management Office (PMO), Strategy and Plan Branch, GWEO Enterprise Division within the GWEO Enterprise Group.

The multi-billion dollar GWEO program is a complex undertaking requiring consideration of many elements including research and development; test and evaluation; manufacturing; maintenance, repair, and overhaul; storage and distribution; disposal; and education and training. You will work in a dedicated team of finance analysts, data analysts, project managers and contract managers, providing cost estimation and analysis solutions to achieve GWEO targeted outcomes in support of the Government's Guided Weapons production priority.

You will also have:

- Experience and knowledge of life cycle cost estimation methods, risk and uncertainty analysis and some level of data modeling, data analysis and financial forecasting techniques.
- Outstanding time management and ability to achieve results within tight deadlines.
- A 'can-do' attitude towards complex problems, whilst using sound judgment and understanding the impacts and risks to strategic outcomes.
- Good written and oral communication skills, and be comfortable engaging and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders whilst building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships.
