**The Company**
A well-known brand is seeking the expertise of a Payroll Officer with strong technical skills, and unparalleled knowledge within payroll legislation. This role will provide a busy and varied role within an extremely collaborative finance & HR team. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, which will allow you to grow as the business expands.
This position is based in West Perth, though the company provides very flexible work arrangements and if you prefer to work 2-3 days from home, then the choice is yours
**Th**e Role**
Starting within the next week, and reporting to the Finance Manager responsibilities will include:
- Processing end-to-end payroll of 300 + employees on a weekly and fortnightly basis
- Superannuation, PAYG and Payroll Tax calculations, terminations and payments
- Reconciliation of payroll ledgers
- Management of workers compensation
- Registering new starters and maintaining employee records up to date
- Being a key point of contact for all payroll queries
- Generating payroll reports
- Performing ad hoc duties
- Contributing to process improvement
**Your Profile**
This position will compliment a professional and hardworking payroll officer, who is committed to providing excellent customer service, and confident in working in a fast paced environment. Previous experience with large payroll systems is essential, as is an intermediate level of Excel knowledge.
