**Position Title**: Painting Instructor
**Location**: Perth, Australia

**Reports To**: Event Coordinator
**About Neon Brush**:
Neon Brush is coming to Perth for 4 straight weekends Neon Brush is a vibrant and innovative painting experience where participants get to unleash their creativity under neon lights in a dark environment. It is a BYO event, allowing guests that are 18+ to enjoy their beverages while creating their masterpieces. Neon Brush aims to provide a fun, relaxed, and inspiring atmosphere for all skill levels.
**Job Overview**:
As a Painter/Painting Instructor at Neon Brush, you will guide participants through the painting process, helping them create their unique artworks with Neon Paint. You will provide instruction, encouragement, and creative tips while ensuring a fun and engaging experience for all attendees. Some painting examples and designs have already been created, however you would have the opportunity to create your own designs to teach the classes (if this is preferred).
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Instruction and Guidance**:
- Lead and instruct participants through a 90-minute painting session.
- Offer step-by-step guidance on painting techniques and tips.
- Encourage creativity and individual expression among participants.
**Preparation and Setup**:
- Prepare painting materials and supplies before each session.
- Ensure the venue is set up appropriately for each event.
- Organise and maintain a clean and safe working environment
**Participant Engagement**:
- Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all guests.
- Interact with participants to provide personalised assistance and support.
- Answer any questions related to the painting process and materials
**Event Coordination**:
- Collaborate with the Event Coordinator to ensure smooth operation of each session.
- Assist in managing the event schedule and ensuring timely start and finish of sessions.
- Handle any issues or challenges that arise during the event in a professional manner
**Post-Event Duties**:
- Clean and organise the painting area after each session.
- Ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Collect feedback from participants to help improve future sessions.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a painter or art instructor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire participants of all skill levels.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a dark environment with neon lighting.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience in leading art workshops or classes.
- Background in fine arts or related field.
- Familiarity with various painting techniques and styles.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
